SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION (SMP)


SMP creates the look of greater density by adding natural pigment impressions into the scalp. This procedure can be an excellent option for patients who want the appearance of thicker hair, or prefer a closely cropped look. This procedure also creates the illusion of much thicker hair when it's placed in an area where the hair is thin, or thinning.

Facial hair restoration can supplement or enhance beards, moustaches, eyebrows and other areas (i.e.,scars) where growth is thin or patchy. We are able to transplant, and blend donor hair with your existing facial hair to look totally natural, both in density and design.

STEP ONE: YOUR CONSULTATION AND EVALUATION.

We start by determining what you want to change, or correct...and what a successful hair restoration result should look like for you. We review your hair loss history, examine your scalp and donor area(s)...and then discuss with you what we think is the best corrective surgery protocol for your particular hair loss situation. At the completion of your consultation, you will have a total understanding, and knowledge of what you can experience during your hair transplantation process, as well as the timetable for your new permanent hair growth, and what the cost will be for your hair restoration procedure.

STEP TWO: A PERSONALIZED PLAN FOR YOUR HAIR LOSS RESTORATION.

No matter where you have experienced hair loss, careful planning is a must! Hairline design and density planning matters! For correct facial balance, where a new hairline is placed on a patient's forehead is critical. The hairline must proportional blend in and complement a patient's facial features. A badly designed hairline will look artificial and draw attention once the transplanted hair grows out. A correctly designed hairline is "more art" than medical science...and requires an experienced consultant to create a completely natural looking hairline.

Is hair restoration only for older adults?

Absolutely not! We provide transplant services for men and women of all ages! Some patients want to address early thinning… while others want to restore advanced hair loss. We will recommend the BEST plan based on your unique situation and your long-term outlook.

How long does it take to see hair growth?

Your hair growth begins immediately. But the total process and your final and permanent hair growth is gradual. Most patients start seeing early changes and new (permeant) hair growth  within 60 to 90 days after your surgical procedure has been completed.. We will explain in detail your expected hair growth timeline.
